The 2014-2015 Golden Backpack year is best characterized by one word: change! While we continued to serve about 400 children per weekend in nine local schools during the school year, it became clear in our seventh year of service we needed to change our focus to organizational sustainability. That meant that it was time to move out from under the Golden Rotary Foundation, develop a broadly based board of directors, and expand our outreach and education in the community. Read more here.
