Melinda is a native of Colorado and a University of Colorado alumni. Currently, she is the Program Manager for Prevention, Intervention, Core Services Program, and the Family Stabilization Services in the Child Welfare Division with the Colorado Department of Human Services. She started working for the Colorado Department of Human Services in March of 1999, and has over twenty-five years of human services human service experience at the county and state level.
Melinda has been with her husband, Tony, for fifteen years and they have a ten year old together, Liam. Liam has two brothers, Colin and Sean (28 and 25). Melinda enjoys the amazing lifestyle Colorado offers with hiking, biking, skiing, music, yoga, travel, and any other adventure that comes her way. She has served on various professional and non-profit organization boards, and loves the roll of serving others.
